POND VEGETATION CONTROL (PHRAGMITES AND OTHER INVASIVE weeds AROUND PONDS)
Vegetation around ponds can be treated throughout the year. Many ponds have Phragmites E. Common Reed which is an invasive species. By permission from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) Peerless Aquacare can control Phragmites in dry ponds dugouts or roadsides.

Invasive Weeds We Cannot Control (Native weeds and those above water)
- Tape Grass (native) looks like grass,
- Richardsons Pond Weed (looks like kelp),
- Lily Pads,
- Pickerel Weed,
- Reeds,
- Cattails or any other plants growing up out of the water,
- Submerged Algaes such as:
- Starry Stonewort, (Filamentous Algae Sp),
- Chara. Sp
