Our Story:

The Peerless Aquacare Story:

By: Richard Maass: Spending my youth in the northern back-country for many years sparked my curiosity and love of the natural world. In 1985 I enrolled in the Forestry Program at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and then got a Diploma in Horticulture.  After graduating, I was employed by a national lawn care company. During this time, I observed that many of our clients had one thing in common. They wanted to brighten up the gray cityscape by adding a little bit of green around their home. This little bit of Muskoka around their home gave them space to relax under the patio umbrella, entertain during summer barbecues or have a siesta in their hammock after work. This connection between personal green space and improved quality of life, ignited my entrepreneurial spirit to open Peerless Turfcare.

In 2022 I retired from Lawncare and now ONLY focus on Aquatic Weed management and control.  Peerless Aquacare and invasive weed management was always something we did, and now its all I do.

Helping my clients have a more weed-free waterfront brings my happy place in Muskoka to them.  A weed-free waterfront adds to the happiness of my clients and their families.  The boating/Cottage season on water is short, why let weeds mess up your enjoyment?

Our number one job is to make sure you feel good about coming back to your little bit of  heaven!
